This is one of the biggest stinker Smokey and the Bandit series. The Bandit may be back, but it ain't Burt Reynolds. The plot is putrid, the supporting cast is horrible, and there is actually a point during all this mess when the pity for Jackie Gleason lifts.

Boy is this one missing Burt Reynolds even though we do get him for a brief moment @ the end. Jerry Reed just can't carry this mess but if you're only in it for the Jackie Gleason you get lots of his Sheriff Justice antics. The laughs are few and far between though
