10/10 and 5 star's
most hottest movie i have seen!
love it!
Totally awesome!! It is indeed started off slow..But yea...Try to keepin' up and you'll like it..
This movie was great. I spent all my time trying to figure out how the assassins were going to get in that I didn't even think about the bigger picture of the FBI agent.
This film starts out kind of slow yet interesting, then becomes quite intriguing with it's several colorful competing factions and independent characters. (Ryan Reynolds continues to shine).
The movie continues to build on that notion, further developing it's key characters and showcasing some kick-ass action sequences. All is great until the very forced and completely obvious flawed ending. I don't want to give away the ending, however if you do see this movie, ask yourself "If this case is SO important, Where are the guards? And more importantly why in the hell did Andy Garcia's character just walk away?" These are inexcusably forced plot points that are even evident in it's first viewing.
Poor endings ruin good movies...period!!
man..i just movie..and i loved it...dunno how some pple thin tat its stupid and shitty...but i loved it ...from the cast to the killings ....except the end which was pointless....but the way he pulled the plugs of the both of em...wow tat would have taken a lot of guts...alicia was SMOKIN HOT!!!!!!!!accordin to me this is the best film tat i have seen in a very long time
cool movie but 2 fast 2 follow.i was high on booze when i saw this movie and in the middle i was getting motion sickness and wanted 2 puke.even if i were normal, it would yet be fast.the nazi guys were really cool.i don't kno wat i wanted but i had expected it 2 be better!!
smokin' aces-the name says it all!!!!
This was one of the worst movies i have ever seen. This just opened up my eyes even more to how twisted this world has become. I don't encourage anyone to watch this..especially if a kid is nearby. The kid scenes in it were distasteful and soon after i left the theatres.
In the words of the director, Joe Carnahan:
"No amount of pyrotechnics or car chases can beat out a real moment or a real tear from a human being. Lots of directors think they can, and they keep trying, and we keep ending up with shitty movies."
A little convoluted and excessive. But none-the-less, a fun, shit-show of an action thriller with wicked visual style that makes everyone look gorgeous, and great performances by all parties.
Also, Ryan Reynolds really surprised me with his performance. He, Jeremy Piven and Taraji Henson all had some very powerful moments.
... I thought that sounded a lot like the Requiem for a Dream theme.
The sound at the end scene where he pulls the plug is Dead reckoning by Clint Mansell. He worked on the music for Lord of the rings, requiem for a dream....
is a nice movie...by the way..anybody here know what's the title of the soundtrack playing when Ryan Renolds sit inside the shell and pull those plugs ya...that music is good
A cracking film. A better Lucky Number Slevin with all the trimmings. Wild, crazy and damm good fun, go see.
This movie was awesome and I cant believe people can say anything bad about it. Of course it was unrealistic, it was supposed to be entertaining not a documentary. The action was cool and the twist in the story, while predictable, still left me wanting to hear them explain it. Some people just comment on movies and say that they are no good with nothing to back it up. But if anyone wants I could probably come up with a few more reasons why this movie was great, not to mention outstanding performances by Ryan Reynolds, Ray Liota, Andy Garcia, and the often hated Ben Affleck. I lost count of the times I was on the edge of my seat waiting for what was coming next. People who hate this movie probably hated the Kill Bill movies as well, which I loved.
