MCT:March 26, 2008Pretty boring movie that seemed a lot like Congo, only without diamond laser monkeys...minus a star! It's kind of telling when you make a movie that isn't even the best giant lizard movie to be created for the Sci-Fi network. Python gets the nod in that department, if for nothing else, a giant snake that can hide behind a tiny box, Casper Van Dien using an always changing drunk Boss Hog accent, and Robert Englund trying to act. This just had Stephen Baldwin and a guy with a vest who could summon snakes. Yeah, I thought it was about a giant snakeman. No, the title is derived from the 5'8" out of shape leader of a tribe who worships the giant snake. I haven't been so mislead since I watched Bottom Feeders! Seriously, watch it and after 35 minutes of a giant rat man chasing Tom Seizmore you'd probably hope for the oral stimulation of anothers anus too.

watch like 5 minutes of it and couldnt stand it. Snake was AWFUL!!!!!

MCT:June 30, 2007The first thing about this is film is that I was expecting some snake-like person to be slithering around and I know Stephen Baldwin comes close but it's not what I wanted to see. The creature in this film is a multi-headed giant snake that happens to be hanging out at the nearby fountain of youth that a bunch of Americans want. Cue lots of people dying. The snake creature is surprisingly well done.
