Whatever, it's a fairytale. I believe one of the first animated movies. The animation is far more impressive than the comic-strip-esque drawings of the 1990-2000s Disney flicks.

the film that paved the way for feature-length animation. the only redeeming story quality, however, is the dwarfs. the rest is just an obnoxiously syrupy fairy tale that even the most starry-eyed child would be tired of after a few viewings. a film to appreciate for its historical and visually aesthetic significance, not for any massive contributions to storytelling.

This will probably sound weird, but I have NEVER liked any of the dwarfs!
I never liked this movie, but I love the artwork and time spent on it.

The first full lengh animated movie ever, produced by the great Walt Disney, is still considered after more than 70 years a masterful achievement.
The story is quite simple, but amazingly decorated. Each dwarf's personality is different and beautifully portrayed.

    Photobucket

Love the songs particularly Heigh-Ho!! The funniest dwarf is Dopey because he is Dopey and he can't talk because he is so stupid. The Queen is so horrible. I love the Magic Mirror!! It is so cool!! When I watched the film there was another little video that came with it, it showed how Walt Disney made this film. I think it is really cleverly done and also it showed that Walt won seven little oscars and 1 massive one for featuring the first full-length animated film in film history.

David Hand directs the original Disney classic based on the fairy tale of Snow White. Everyone has seen and loved this movie. It is one of the greatest Disney movies of all time. Hi Ho!

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the greatest animated film of all time. With the perfect fairy tale story, Walt Disney captures the essence of a great film. It was a landmark first feature length animated film, and it was done flawlessly.

Propaganda at it worst. Includes drugging, and raping an innocent woman and makes young girls feel like they have to look anorexic with white skin. Racism, sexism, and rape.

This is the only movie I have ever been scarred by. Honestly. Half a star because I am not able to watch it. I have horrible memories from my childhood because of this movie. Ahh!

One of Disney's classics. A far cry from High School Musical! I Loved this as a kid and would always watch it round my grans house. (As I did with other Disney classics such as Pinnochio and Fantasia). Although, as far as I can remember, I prefered Pinnochio to this and Fantasia, I did love them too. The story is a classic and a solid story at that. Very smart and well structured.

This is a fantastic way to introduce young children into the vast world of film and it is great education aswell. And of course, it has many great morals, one of the best being that vanity is a bad thing.

Still as good as the first time I saw it. The animation is unbelievable good, to think that it's done way back in the 1930's!! Amazing.

This is a pretty good movie for back in the day. The dwarves were the best part of the whole movie. I was afraid if you took them out, you would not have a movie.

Enjoyed watching this again. The early days of Disney show some shakiness of narrative arc, but the dwarfs make the film adding all kinds of great humor. A classic in the classic sense, but it only works for me with the dwarfs.

The first full-length animated film deservedly done by Disney. This was slated by Hollywood to be a flop but turned out to be one of the all time grossing films even to this day. Superb animation and storytelling with lots of fun and music. Perhaps the most classic animated film of all time.

I love it. It's funny and sad. "Mirror, mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?"... It's one of the Grimm fairy tales...

Pô, pensa só, esse desenhozinho pode ser bobo e tal mas foi feito nos anos 30! É absurdamente avançado --em termos de tecnologia e cinematograficamente falando-- pra época.

The beginning film of the Disney classics is memorable if a bit too familiar with its themes being take and reused in some cases in better films. Still a great film and featuring some great tunes and animation.

let's face it. this was the first ever animated feature film. and it was good. i loved the evil stepmother/queen. it was slightly different from the original story but still, it was good. the only thing i'm disturbed about (even from the orig. story) was that the prince kissed a corpse. anyhow, that's that.
