Dennis Quaid and Julia were a very funny couple. I enjoyed the chemistry between the two. But Kyra Sedgwick stole the scenes she were in.

I loved it. It was about a woman taking the time to learn what's best for her. So many times we're stuck on the ideals that we overlook the obvious (which is usually to our own hurt). Kudos Grace. You GO Girl! (although she was wrong for trying to poison that man. It's never worth going that far.

Julia is on self destruct, certainly plenty to talk about, trying to split up other marriages instead of saving her own, it all comes together in a nice happy ending though.

Good cast. Movie about a woman who finds out her husband is cheating on her. She goes home to her parents to re-evaluate her life.

It was a cool movie. i didn't like the girl that played her daughter she sounded creepy. A nice setting Savannah GA.

I liked Julia Roberts in this film. She says what she thinks even when it makes others angry. She doesnt hide her emotions as she goes thru a bad divorce.

I was just watching this at home during lunch!!lol It is good and I so love how she handles it... wrong...but wonderful.
-
Hehe, this was fun. If you love horses, seeing romantic comedies with people walking around poisoning each other and if you can't get enough of that Mona Lisa smile, I recommend you watch this ;D

For all the women out there. watch this one. Sorry to the guys... But maybe you could learn from it?
-
I love the street scene the best! Caught the bastard. And I love Kyra Sedgewick in this. And the little girl in this movie is so adorable. LOVED this movie.
-
awesome julia roberts movie. she starts as a woman who's husband cheats on her with half of the town, she lives in a southern town with her family who run a hourse farm. great actors, storyline and movie. a must see.
-
It was nothing to talk about. Just a sorry chick flick that made no sense at all. Robert Duvall cheated on his wife and she took him back because she watched him riding a horse. Huh? And more senseless stuff like that was all through this thing.
-
not impressed by what I saw but then again my other half is back in the states and one of those that seems to make sense only then?
-

and the guy is not rich he may be a farmer or whatever but thats not rich and this a gay movie!! -
I LOVE Julia Roberts but this movie blows! I fell asleep not even halfway through the movie. It had potential to be a good movie it just couldn't pull it off.
-
As a HUGE JR fan, I'm ever so slightly biased, but I do LOVE this film, and I've seen it a gazzillion times. I just keep forgetting to get that recipe...;o)

I never much liked this movie. Kyra Sedwidge was the best part. I don't believe in tolerating this kind of infedelity. I thought it was a stupid.
-
I really rather liked this movie, except for the fact that everybody gave great performances...Just not with each other...Everybody seemed to be acting in their own movie, and nobody had any chemistry to even make it believable that they had been filmed on the same set...
I guess the best part was the horses... -
Things I learned from this movie:
* Holy shit! How can Dennis Quaid look so happy when a huge face eating gibbon is standing right next to him???? -
I really did not like how this movie went around with the story... I really would never let a person be unfaithful to me and then forgive them... But Julia Roberts was very impressive and beautiful in the movie.... and also the role of her sister was pretty funny and someone I would look myself as....
-
Incredibly bad. None of the characters are likable. Julia's Southern accent comes and goes. And the movie goes on, and on, and on. Avoid at all costs.
-
I love this movie-and this cast! Kyra Sedgewick is a true gem!!! I can watch this one over and over. :0)

My favorite line from this is "lick it, stick a stamp on it, and send it to someone who gives a damn!"
