Plot: A free-spirited woman "kidnaps" a yuppie for a weekend of adventure. But the fun quickly takes a dangerous turn when her ex-con husband shows up.
This is one quirky film here. You have Charlie(Jeff Daniels)who meets this eccentric woman(Melanie Daniels)who takes him on a merry chase out of NYC to her home for a high school reunion, but what she didn't count on was meeting up again with a blast from her past, and from there it gets funky.
I enjoyed this when it screened many many moons ago. The tense undercurrent helps push this along. Melanie Griffith's Lulu/Audrey is touching in many ways. A rather dramatic/tense ending, but justified. Great viewing.
A classic and underrated film of 1986. Jeff Daniels, Melanie Griffith and Ray Liotta are awesome in this film. An executive meets a spontanious woman who loves to have a great, things are great till her ex-con husband shows up. A great 1986 film that is a classic.
For a Griffith movie, it's good! LOL seriously, it's cute and it's funny and I loved it! Light and fluffy comedy!
My favourite film of all time. Daniels and Griffith play two of the most likable characters ever on film and Liotta manages to twist the films mood in a complete 180 as soon as he arrives. An amazing journey of a film.
