    It ain't "Animal House" or "Revenge of the Nerds", but I do have to say that "Sorority Boys" is yet another sign that raunchy college movies are coming back. Sure, most of them feature whiny pop soundtracks that make you wish you were deaf, but I'm willing to make that sacrifice ...( read more)for the return of a genre of films that are all about getting loaded and laid.

    Three chuckleheads are booted from the top party frat on campus (Kappa Omega Kappa - KOK) for stealing money. But it just so happens that they know of a videotape inside the frat house that can prove their innocence. So they dress up in drag and worm their way back into the house so that they can steal the tape. But they're taken for a couple of sisters from over at the Delta Omicron Gamma sorority (DOG) - the nerd house, so they're thrown out on their asses once again and are forced to take residence amongst the nice but goofy chicks of DOG. And you pretty much know what happens from here. By having the tables turned on them and also by learning a lot about what it's like to be a woman, the boys learn that their chauvinistic ways are wrong.

    It's all pretty damn predictable, especially since the last third plays out almost exactly like the last third of "Revenge of the Nerds", but who cares about that, right? For a movie like this, you wanna know that it's filled with gross humor, hardcore party situations and nudity - yes, NUDITY. Both male and female nudity are in great abundance, the humor is gross and the parties are hardcore. So the filmmakers have done their job here.

    Still, "Sorority Boys" isn't a very memorable experience. Actually, as I sit here writing this, I'm having trouble remembering any key scenes that were particularly uproarious. I know I was laughing, but I'll be damned if I can remember at what, although this does happen often with me. There also weren't many characters that I'm having fond memories of either. Harland Williams is always funny, so his character was cool, but that's about it. His two drag buddies don't stand out in my mind, nor do any of the DOG girls. There weren't any Blutos or Boogers to laugh at or emulate at your own drunken parties.

    So if you're hard up for raunchy college humor, this is your ticket right here. But rather than run out and see it in a theater with a bunch of gabbing airheads, you're better off waiting till it hits video in a few months so you can watch it with some friends and a couple cases of beer.

    A typical teen comedy, but Rosenbaum was funny. I've never seen him as any other character other than Lex. He was funny.

    This was so hilarious! These guys looked so ridiculous, but Michael actually looked pretty good as a woman. They did a great job with the acting. Worth watching for a good laugh!

    Silly? Sure but this boysterous teen flic has all the makings of a good night in for the lads.
    Grab some beers and make this one of the 1/2 dozen choices to watch. Easy laughs.
