April 26, 2009Finally watched it again 12 years after I saw it in the cinema. It's just as bad as I remembered it being. The voice-over and lack of violence really harm the dark source material. March 7, 2009I really liked this despite many problems with the film. The look is great, like the comic its very dark, gothic and grim. The rain comes down in sheets and the mist swirls around about the night whilst Spawn leaps around in his fantastic looking 'living' suit.

October 24, 2009I remember seeing this twice in theaters as a kid. This was before comic book movies were all the rage. Spawn was a decent adaption to the big screen but not a great movie.
