October 24, 2009I remember seeing this twice in theaters as a kid. This was before comic book movies were all the rage. Spawn was a decent adaption to the big screen but not a great movie.

September 16, 2009Not good. Cheesy effects and a dissappointing look of the demonic underworld. With a bigger budget and a more talented mind we could have received a more satisfying and faithful adaptation to this dark comic.

July 13, 2009a difficult story, world and characters to get your head around. the directing of the movie was a bit "made for TV" like but the time put into the 'spawn' characters effects were fairly decent. I liked his cloak. it was all a bit too weird for me so didn't enjoy too much.

June 16, 2009I know tons of people hated this movie, but it was just ahead of its time. with all of the comic/cartoon rip off movies out now i think it would have done much better had it been released in this decade. If you liked the comics, you'll like the movie, at least a little.
