"They could f**k the human race out of existence!" warns Michael Madsen in this inevitable--and inevitably contrived--sequel to 1995's surprise sci-fi hit. He's referring to a celebrated astronaut (Ju...( read more

Okay, the quote makes this sound sufficiently hilariously bad to be worth watching. I could of course be wrong.
Not a bad straight-to-video horror sequel, but even on average those are always poor, right? Go for it if you loved the first one, like, a lot.
Not a top class movie...but worth to watch for entertainment...
A sequel tat fails to beat the original...tats all i can say...
A rather pale sequel to the first, the sequel brings back Natasha Henstridge with a deeper mediocre plot but fails to deliver even though it's a little more gory than the first.
If I am not much mistaken, this sequel to the 1995 Species is even worse than the first movie in the series. However the horrible memories of the bad acting, the cheap effects and of course terrible plot line still lingers on.
Bloody hot in several sex machine scenes that makes me go drooling. Great special effects of the return of Natasha Henstridge as Eve, a half-human, half-alien clone in this sequel.
Only watched this one for Natasha, my Newfoundland beauty with the gorgeous body, and SHE'S NUDE AGAIN!!! Wooo hooo!
Ouch this was as bad as that film Street Fighter 2 movie that came out a long time ago. The non-exsisting acting is a bone cruncher, no real plot, no good script. I would recommend jumping of a cliff for a better time. Ouch.
An even more embarrassing second instalment of a pretty dumb film. Seems like the writer skipped every biology class in school... well, maybe he was too busy writing daft sci-fi screenplays like this. But it gets worse. Acting is lame, often non-existent, ending is specially dull and senseless. 'Species II' exploits nudity trying to build up to a climax where two "sexy aliens" will inevitably meet and have hot alien sex, but instead it delivers clumsy action and aliens that look like H. R. Giger's rejected sketches.
Come on now you got two aliens and their children took take over the world. Liked it just as much as the first
Back in the day sequels sucked....not anymore...this is a great sequel that doesn't playout the first film.
..They could f**k the human race out of existence!" warns Michael Madsen in this inevitable--and inevitably contrived--sequel to 1995's surprise sci-fi hit. He's referring to a celebrated astronaut (Ju...( read more )stin Lazard) infected with alien DNA from his history-making Mars landing, and the half-alien Eve (Natasha Henstridge), who was created from alien-human embryo splicing by biochemist Dr. Laura Baker (Marg Helgenberger) in an effort to discover the alien species's vulnerabilities on Earth. While the astronaut sows his gruesomely wild oats with doomed women (resulting in a bevy of creepy kids in alien cocoons), Eve goes into heat until she and the astronaut can consummate their procreative lust. Sex and death are served up like money-shots in a porno flick, with an emphasis on gory flesh-regeneration, explosive pregnancies, and slimy-tentacled intercourse. All of which makes this is the kind of derivative schlock that only a true fan could love, but it's boosted to a tolerable level of entertainment by the returning cast (Madsen, Henstridge, and Helgenberger) from the previous film. --Jeff Shannon ..CastActors & Cast for Species II

This film was bad compared to the original. I especially hated the final confrontation scene. It was poorly put together. The visual effects did not help. For a movie made in '98, they were actually pretty bad.
Fans of the first film will find this to be a disappointment.
If an alien actually did look like Natasha Henstridge the human race would be in big trouble. She's dreamy.
true sequel to the 1st.. just as weird. scary, I mean aliens bursting out of u will be. eh?! and interesting..
The story makes more sense than the first, at least more acceptable, watch the first to understand better.
Only Michael Madsen, Marg Helgenberger and Natasha Henstridge are back, no Forest Whitaker and Sir Ben Kingsley.
Oscar nominee James Cromwell joins the cast too.
Not too bad of a sequel to the 1995 film "Species". A clone of the first Sil is in a lab. Three astronauts go to mars and get infected by alien DNA accept for one. A male Sil wants to mate and have kids. Natasha Henstridge, Michael Madsen, and Marg Helgenberger return in this sequel.
obviously not as good as the original but still a good film to watch. and Natasha Henstridge stilllllllllllllllll GORGEOUS!!! id watch this film over and over again just for her! HOT!
Sci fi thriller where astronauts bring back infected DNA from a visit to mars. Alien creatures and birth of aliens similar to movie ALIEN. Good action but inferior to the original Alien movie and not a patch on the acting of Sigourney Weaver. Lovely line "They could f**k the human race out of existence!" when the DNA carrier goes from one procreative act to another -Justin Lazard - VERY SEXY GUY.
this was ok for a seque i think this is better then the 3rd species film...the aliens throughout this were cleverly made nd they were incredible detailed throughut the film..the ction sequences were good as well
oh my god.
one of the best sci fi thrillers i have ever watched! the senes that the lady/alien is looking for a mate and how she goes about it is pretty far out!
The Species movies are about one thing:seeing Natasha Henstridge naked. These are pathetic excuses for movies.
This board looks lonely. Be the first to talk about "Species II" !
