This is soo far the longest of the trilogy, but I still think it should have been longer because I didn't feel to connected with Sandman or Venom, the only villain who was more than just one-dimensional was the new goblin, nontheless the film is still one of the best of 2007.
Surely not the best Spiderman, but I thought it was really well done, the acting was pretty good, the action was pleasing (although I was very disappointed by the CGI), it's sad at some parts. But some parts didn't exactly make sense and some stuff was corny which kind of separated it from the first two films, this was tadle too cheesy.
Film Threat | Clint Morris What saves Spider-Man 3 from becoming well, "Superman III," is the fact that it's still a solid film that packs a punch when it comes to turn on the spectacle.
Obviously, the worst of the trilogy. I will say that Venom was done very well, and I liked the fact that Topher Grace did the part. He did great justice to the character. But the actual movie itself sucked big ol' fat balls.
As long as we have Kirsten Dunst and Toby Maguire starring together in the flicks you'll have my attention. Rumors of them fighting and not getting alng makes you wonder if they'll ever be a 4. Come on now, are you two going to let the Dark Night rule the roost.
I liked this flick. after reading some of the negative reviews this movie has received, I am left with one thought...people who expect too much realism from a comic-style movie will be sorely disappointed every time. for those who love the quirky, exaggerated style of such films...view away!
what ruined this for me was when he became darker and all of a sudden he was like a jazz dancer(?) or something. Ummm... what the fuck was that? the black spider thing was sick though, soooooooooo cool.
After the great huge sucess of the other to spider-man films after watching the Trailer for spider-man 3 it really looked good and when i saw it in the cinema it didn`t turn out to be what i wanted it to be. spider-man 3 has a strange black entity from another world bonds with Peter Parker and causes inner turmoil as he contends with new villains, temptations, and revenge.
i liked the idea that they introduced not just one villian from the comic book series. , but they introduced 3 villians into this story. Spider-Man 3 had some great specail effects and some of the best i have seen. i hear there is going to be a spier-man 4. will it be good has Spider-Man 3 and i hope that it will be.
ok, so we take Peter Parker/Spider-Man, who's already a tool, and we make him into an even bigger tool by giving him emo hair, a black suit, and an angst-ridden love triangle. the action sequences were somewhere between 1 and 2, as were the effects. the story was ridiculously and needlessly convoluted and, like its predecessors, was ripe with mediocre acting, audience-insulting monologues telling us word-for-word the theme we're supposed to comprehend, and lackluster villains. I'll admit this movie entertained me, but only because I got to sit and make fun of it for 2 hours. cliched, hype-driven, and a real let-down for superhero action movies.
It was okay...but it was completely disappointing. I loved Venom (who is in fact my favorite villan of all villans in Spider-Man). I was excited to see it but it was just turned out to be so mediocre.
I couldnt get into this, I dont like the first two. The only thing I did like about this is Topher Grace because hes always the funny cute guy in movies. And when Spiderman swings through the city on the webs its so cool. But to be honest I didnt really give this a chance, and it didnt quite come together well enough. But I will give it another chance in the distant future because if your a big enough Spidey fan you can forgive the mistakes and I want to enjoy it and Spidermans growing on me. Also i think Tobey in a way is a good choice he plays the geeky side so well.
This movie makes no sense. Halfway through I expected that it was a joke, but it was real. I don't get it. The scene with 'The Twist,' the emo Peter, Norman Osbourne going fruity, and almost everything about this movie makes me want to laugh in embarrassment. I wonder what Sam Raimi was thinking when he made this. It was like taking a girl on a date and her dentures are slipping off of her gums when she's talking.
This movie was outstanding. Every scene was filled with drama and special effects. It was truly perfect, I'd highly recommend it to any Spiderman fans. The only complaint I had was the ending, and the way Peter Parker and the Green Goblin tamed up and the way they defeated the villians. They should have killed Sandman instead of apologizing and forgiving. Aside from that, the movie was really and awesome.
a good sequal to Spider-man 2. the story: a strange black entity from another world bonds with Peter Parker and causes inner turmoil as he contends with new villains, temptations, and revenge. i liked the idea that they introduced not just one villian from the comic book series, but they introduced 3 villians into this story. a huge success not only for this Spider-man film, but the whole series. the Sandman, the Green Goblin and Venom were amazing seeming as 2 of the 3 are new to the Spider-man films. the one thing that was annoying in this was Kristen Dunst's character of Mary Jane Watson who was a annoying and whining as she can be. this film was one of the best films i had see in the summer time of 2007 and i hear that is going to be a forth film, if that is true than i hope that it will be a sucsess like the other three films. Tobey Maguire's third role as Spider-man was just as good as the other two times he played him. good battle scenes in this film. when i first saw the trailer for this film, i thought that it was going to be good as the other 2 films, and it definetly was. some good special affects involved in this film like Venom and the fight scenes. a great family film.
