June 10, 2009After the latest sequel, i am the worst spidey hater of all, but if curt conners turn into lizard, maquire stays and sam ramia adds less romance and harship this time, it could possibley work.

March 10, 2009ahh ummm ok!! all those 3 were nice movies..hoping for the best.. i wonder what's the new role of Bruce Campbell the star of Evil dead 1,2&3? i think he's one of Raimi's favorite actor..wait & see!!!

February 18, 2009I can't believe Sam Raimi is returning. This is a series that needs a refresh. New director, actors, script, studio, the whole shebang.
Lemme guess, their gonna cram Croc, a Venom return, Carnage, and at some point we'll hear Kirsten Dunst whining and crying. She's not even a redhead?!?!?!?!?! Is that too much to ask of Hollywood? Cast a red headed actress for a character with red hair? Why does it always have to be a blond? Mary Jane, Pepper Potts, etc.
And I suppose spidey will spend more time pissing and moaning about power and responsibility than actually fighting bad guys. Can I get a action oriented Spider-Man movie, or a spidey flick with humor infused. No, Raimi thinks he's working for some sort of Academy Award for drama.
The biggest highlight for this series has been some really cool scenes with spidey webbing around, but they could infuse a little more style in these scenes (and the fight scenes). -
January 3, 2009Wow, i didn't even know a Spider-man 4 was suposed to come out! Totally interested.

December 28, 2008Not anymore. Google the movie and you will see the latest info is May 2011.

December 11, 2008Hopefully there's less Peter and Mary Jane arguing moments or him talking to her answering machine as she stands there with her arms folded looking pissed. I also hope that he doesn't have to rescue her 4 movies in a row as well. That's extremely old.

August 9, 2008they better come up with something better then the 4 last ones..and not change too much of the original story lines of the vilians..

July 30, 2008To Boldaslove, i'm afraid to tell you that he seems wrong in this occasion. Multiple sites have reported the fact that it has been pushed to May 2011 such as IMDB, Wikipedia and others which you should go and take a serious look at.
If you are meaning the left hand side of the Flixster page then yes i do see it still listed on 2009 which is easily explanable, they just haven't updated it yet.
Also notice how it says "no director" listed with this movie..... At this internet age i think we would have had some kind of pictures of the crew & settings during filming and some actors confirmed with less than a year till release for any movie if not then they really are leaving it last minute with not even the director tied up with this. lol -
July 30, 2008woot, woot. i'll be alex g's fangirl.
anyway, why would they make another? the 3rd was digital crap.
