WOW...I was moved at the end of the film ..is Entertainment,emotions,morals,..it has it all...Like chihiro i would miss all the people from the Bath House...
another masterpiece from hayao miyazaki.
full of imagination and unexpected story!
Well I finally watched this the only problem was it was a Japanese DVD so I haven't any idea what anyone was saying. I'll need to find a version with subtitles.
fixed that problem and loved it so much i bought it on VHS and DVD.
"Spirited Away" is about a 10-year old girl's metaphysical(in my opinion) journey to the beauty and fantasy of the unknown. If one would watch this looking for a more than comprehensible plot, one will be disappointed, because for me, you will enjoy and ponder "Spirited Away" mor...( read more)
Hayao Miyazaki has once again proven his genius in this absolutely enchanting masterpiece. There's few words to describe the majesty of this secret world with these strange character creatures and bizarre rules.

This is my favourite Miyazaki movie to date. We've never seen this type of film. It's very original just like other Miyazaki films. There are some outstanding visuals - i loved the character design. The spirits and creatures all looked sensational! The plot - WOW! It's sweet just...( read more)

I saw it in cinema when i was a child, and i liked it back then, but i can't remember what it's about.
I'm not usually the sort of person to watch anime cartoons, but this one gave me a different perspective upon it altogether. This film impressed me, the story itself's not bad atall. So maybe it's not the best quality children's film ever, but the detail itself is a masterpiece.
speaking of this fillm, i want to say sth about the director, Miyazaki. he is in his sixties and often have a walk and pick up litter in the Inogasira park where he lives nearby with his lovely dog. people love his movies.
It's amazing! In this movie u can see how money can corrupt people, making them forget who they truly are and turning them into something else.

This was outstanding! I remember watching this when I was much younger, but didn't understand it. Now I've watched it, and understood the subtle symbolic ideas plotted into it, i've appreciated it so much more. The music is fantastic too. I never thought I'd cry in an anime, ...( read more)

This movie is so overrated! I can't see why everybody love it. It is a good movie, really beatiful and a original story, BUT its not brilliant, does not impress me!

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! It was so whimsical and enchanting. It was very interesting and suspenseful. They should make a sequel.
This was my first Miyazaki/Ghibli experience and it blow me away! Who needs all the Finding Nemo type computer graphics when all you really need is a good story. Not that the animation is bad you understand, it?s beautiful in its simplicity but also striking in its detail. A mast...( read more)
