Cliche and predictable, yet more fun than any recent hollywood monster. Cattrall was looking good in those days, and Hauer was the guy for this type of roles.

All the performances are superb and it is a shame that this movie was so overlooked at the time. Unfortunately now that it actually is the 21st century, it's a bit anachronistic.

yes, there are enough clichees here, but i still love this one
Hauer is a great antihero, the mood is dark and hopeless, the monster is quite funny, and there are enought jokes and enough tension to keep you fascinated

I just watched this again just now. Its STILL kicks ass. I love Rutger Hauer's no-nonsense cop and Duncan's Uni Gradiate preppy boy mixture.
The action is still there, the humour still craics me up, even after 10-15 years. LOVE it!
BRILLIANT stuff!
