The title role in this "B" oater is essayed by Tim McCoy, a square shooter if ever there was one. McCoy plays a frontiersman falsely imprisoned for five years. Upon his release, he is faced with hostility from friends and foes alike. McCoy vows to track down the actual criminal and bring him to task. Not altogether happy at Columbia Pictures, which insisted upon taking the actor out of his element in occasional non-western roles, Tim McCoy left the studio shortly afterward for a cheaper but superior western series for Puritan Pictures.
