I love this movie, and I love River Phoenix in it. It has it's funny moments and sad moments. It's great.

I love this movie! From the first time I saw it was my favorite movie. River Phoenix was always my favorite character as (Chris Chambers) in this movie. And after I saw it I knew I had to see more of his movies and I love them all! He is my favorite actor of all time and trully a one-of-a-kind.

i agree with lana, my bestest friends i ever had were the ones i had when i was younger. i love this movie, it made me wish i was 12 years old again. life was much better then. okay this movie is good, why didn't they ever have a part 2 to this movie, i wish they would have continued this movie to show what they did afterwards and not just have put it in words. it was like in american graffitti, but the movie "more american graffitti" SUCKED.

hahaha..... kid with the River Phoenix pic REALLY likes Stand By Me, huh??
i saw it a few years ago, but the only part i remember about it is when they get the gun and one of them points it at another and shoots and nothing happens, then they point it at the TV and the TV blows up. lol.
The kid was freaked, like, 'you could've killed me!'
