  Shorter than 2 hours, this movie has a plot that failed to register its mark on me at any point. There was hardly any story in it to keep me engaged. The proceedings were predictable and the execution was quite dull. I don't know what goes on behind the screens, but I used to despise Aamir for snatching the director's title from Amole in Taare Zameen Par and molding it his way. But if the screenplay and the execution was the reason behind Aamir's decision, I guess he got it right. Amole Gupte comes up again with a story of children. This time around it's about a kid who has to suffer in his class only because he doesn't bring a lunch-box... a lunch-box which is the weakness of his Hindi professor. He isn't allowed to sit in class until he brings one. Then the usual drama follows with hardly anything interesting. The end couldn't have been more disappointing. There are too many flaws in the movie. One of the critics had mentioned that Amole Gupte is incredible in the negative role (as a Hindi professor), and that he has hardly loathed any character to this extent. IMO he was nothing so great; just a mediocre actor. He was not even as much effective as the central character's kid's father in Taare Zameen Par. The film fails on many level. Hope Amole comes up with something better next time.
