Very interesting documentary about a complex man. Gives great insight into both the creative process of a Kubrick film, and also the relationships that he develops with his actors and crew on the set.

A really great documentary that any fan of Kubrick's should see. A lot of home movie and behind the scenes footage with plenty of great interviews offer some great insight into the man and his work. Good documentary, nothing mind blowing but a well done look at the prolific director's life.

A top-notch retrospective of Stanley Kubrick films. Narrated by Mr. Tom Cruise himself. Lots of great clips and interviews are included. Quite fascinating and well-made!

Any Kubrick fan will enjoy this. Highlights his entire cinema career. Breaks down every film he's made the struggles to make em and the infamous reviews that awaited after every screening.

Revealing documentary on the great man. Narrated by a short, toothy scientologist!

A fascinating though somewhat uninspired documentary about one of the greatest directors of all time. Most interesting are the comments from the actors who have starred in his movies (particularly from Malcom McDowell, who had a friendship with Kubrick, and from Shelley Duvall, w...( read more)ho hated working with him) and from other modern directors; Allen's and Pollack's comments are particularly noteworthy. While the documenting techniques here are nothing special, the subject matter is intriguing, especially to fans of Kubrick or to those who wish to learn more about him, and it is for these viewers that I recommend this film.
