Plot:
Immediately after the events of Star Wars-Episode II: Attack of the Clones, the Clone Wars continue. The Separatists launch masses of Battle Droids while the Republic has an entire arsonal of Clone Tr...( read more

Enjoyable romp in the Star Wars, including more extended looks at favorite characters such as Yoda as well as lesser characters such as the Clone Troopers.
Combats au début un peu long. Intéressant comme idée de faire du dessin animé, mais ça manque d'ambiance Starwars...
regardless of what you may think of the prequel trilogy, this was a good cartoon chronicling the events of the clone wars set up in "attack of the clones".
Does anyone know why George Lucas didn't make and release the movies properly, like in chronological order!?!
I'am A BIG Fan Of Star Wars! So...The Only...Question I Have To Ask Is...Anybody Know Where I Can Get The DVD!?!
The Jedi are WAY too strong. If they had this kind of strength in the movies they'd be unstoppable. Wace Windu destroys an entire army by himself like it was nothing.
This series is not only a great boon to Star Wars fans, but it will likely rekindle interest for those people who were turned off by the Star War prequels. One can say with certainty that "Clone Wars" is much better than both Episodes I and II, and that this series will become a beloved installment in the history of Star Wars media.
Too bad Lucas wasn't paying attention to the stories that the Cartoon Network came out with. Maybe his "Prequels" wouldn't have been so slipshod.
I admit it when I first heard that Star Wars was going to become an animated TV show for Cartoon Network is was very skeptical about it, but after just seeing like two episodes (the season one and two episodes where only like 5 min long) I changed my mind. This DVD includes all episodes from season one and two, and Clone Wars is great and gives you more about the 'wars' in Star Wars than the movies shows. If you like Star Wars this is a must see ans a must have!
The question is... Can an animated Star Wars live up to the original performance?? My guess is NO WAY!!!
This I thought was good in between story of how the Clone Wars in Star Wars happened. I know that it is a cartoon but it is dang good for a cartoon. Cartoon network was really good to do something like this.
The story continues (but before the time we were introduced to it). I'll say it again, I can't stand computer creations and this flic is jammed packed with byte baddies. Gotta see it as part of the whole Star Wars story though so I'm up for it.
If you haven't, see these mini-episodes. They're better than all of the prequels put together. There. I said it.
This little animated series (being Vol. 1 & Vol. 2) is a lot better than the first 3 chapters of the Star Wars saga. Not being the biggest fan of the new trilogy, and this series falls right in between the second and third movie, I was pleasantly surprised. I was amazed at how using the new material of Star Wars, that it was just as exciting as the original trilogy. It captures the large scope of what one would believe the Star Wars universe to be like. I felt the same awe and amazement that I felt as a child.
Remembering Return of the Jedi, and the scene where we are placed into Jaba's palace, this was my crowning moment of the series. For me it was the sheer number of different creatures and characters that we were given. It was an extended Canteena scene (from the original, Star Wars: A New Hope). I wanted to get to know those characters more.
The connection that I'm trying to make here is that Clone Wars deliverers that same kind of childhood excitement. The focus isn't entirely around the main characters of the saga. We are given an array of secondary characters to meet, that we never get to experience in any of the movies. Imagine a different version of Star Wars where all of those unique and interesting creatures and characters that fill up the background of Jabba's Palace or the Canteena get their moment in front of the camera. A version that makes them just as important as Obi-won or Yoda. A Star Wars that brings a child's wish to life. To bad when it's all done you know the next chapter is Revenge of the Sith.
The fact that George Lucas had nothing to do with this only goes to show that his brilliant formula can be learned, and replicated effectively. This and its sequel sit proudly between AOTC and ROTS on my shelf.
This was very fun! As a huge Star Wars fan, I thought the new extended storyline was very good, especially Asajj Ventress' part.
Shockingly good. This is the movie that should have been made as live action. If it had been it would have been the best of the three new Star wars films.
This is the missing movie that Lucas should've made after Espisode II. It fills in all the holes and ends just as Episode III starts.
Genndy Tartakovsky's style is amazing. The story is well-done. I just wish the 3rd movie didn't rely on this series to answer so many questions.
Have you ever wonder just how bad ass Mace Windo is?? See this movie and be amazed. A very good addition to the series.
Bwooer. So goddamn self-serious. Since when does Star Wars have all the energy and enthusiasm of a fundamentalist liturgy? I thought Trekkies were supposed to be the joyless ones.
Excellent animation, great sound editing and effects. Not much story but tons of action sequences, the only regret is that it's too short but good.
Better than the first two prequels! (Not hard, I know.) Fills in a lot of holes between Episodes II and III and has some kick-ass, cool animation.
aside from the slightly annoying cartoon network style of animation this is an exellent addition to the saga
