"This continues the tradition of being a different "Star Wars" series from the one I knew as a kid and I don't care what the critics say this is still great sci-fi escapism right here."
I'm a big star wars fan. but Out of the three. this one needed better writers. they tried to put to much fake acting with the romance. the action saved this installment.
Possibly the worst movie in the already flooded star wars market. unfortunately this movie was required to finish the double trilogy series. just wish anakin wasnt such a douche.
Less Jar-Jar, less stupid juvenile crap, slightly darker and more action-packed. Still some pretty terrible dialogue and acting though, but a vast improvement over the dismal Phantom Menace.
Very good film. Worst of the new trilogy but not worst of saga. I still really enjoyed this film though. The action, adventure and the excitment as amazing and so is the tension with Anakin with Padmé and with Obi-Wan on Kamino. But there was one bad thing about this film is that it was too romantic.
Like Episode I, it's not at the same level as the first three Star Wars movies. Hayden Christensen is too much a sissy as Anakin. Someone as sissy as that, doesn't end up with the girl usually. Still gave it a good rating for the story.
Apart from the battlescenes towards the end we are subjected to over an hour of pitiful moaning from Anakin who sounds like a moany kid rather than Darth Vader in waiting: "It isn't fair".
Christopher Lee is of course, as he always is, a terrific villain and his fight with Yoda is memorable but the idea of Master Sifo-Dias ordering Clones to be made is a little farfetched. Most Star Wars fans would have wanted something more simple there.
Not enough battlescenes, too little excitement but it almost makes up for it near the end.
Once again, a mixture of cool and detestable elements. Just when you thought Darth Vader could get less cool than Jake Lloyd, in comes Hayden Christensen. Vader is losing more and more of his awesomeness with each film. Still, there is enough stuff to like and I do enjoy seeing the rise of an evil empire. I just wish it could've been told better. I also like Anakin's fall from grace being paved with good intentions, just Christensen can't portray him as anything more than a spoiled child.
A solid bounce back for Lucas from the pitiful Episode I. I think I was more relieved that I didn't hate this movie. The wonders you can do by simply getting rid of Jar Jar and Jake Lloyd.
What a tragedy - a movie I wanted to love, but just couldn't. Why oh why did George Lucas decide that special effects are more important than people, and that product merchandising trumps a good product?
Bring in the clones! Dah ha! In part 2 of the prequels that smell freshly, it's 9 years later, or so, and Anakin has grown into...a snotty annoying teenager with powers...yipee! Padme Amidala is a senator. Politics goes out the window, with the Jedi, chasing assassins over lavish FX for several minutes. Obi Wan investigates a clone planet and fins out about a strange army he didn't order. Palpatane makes himself supreme chancellor, and you'd think someone would notice he's evil by now. But no. The lovelorn couple, Annie and Amy, go to planet Naboo on orders from the Jedi, but they bust out and head to Tatooine, where Anacin gets a headache and finds out his Mommy is about to die, even though for like 10 years he didn't bother to rescue her, and he goes and kills some sand people, to which Amidala wants to make out with him, rather than think he's a total murdering psycho. Then Count Dookie, er Dokuu, gets into a big fight with Aanakin, Obi Wan, and Yoda, and Yoda flies around like he is made out of Looney Tunes rubber. Uhu. And the clones get into this big fight too. Cool SFX do not make a good movie.
i wanna see more of description of romance between the two. ? ? ? also more could have done to make the last battle more interesting. As an imaginary total war description, load of the ring 2 did better job.
it is just a bridge between the two towers.it is a strong one but not a beautiful one.it just has the structure and necessary materials but don`t search for any beautification.we searchesd everywhere and we didn`t find any.
It had some pretty good parts... Ewan McGregor was quite impressive. But overall Hayden Christensen is un-engaging and unbelievable as the Anakin who becomes Darth Vader.
This Star Wars is able to show how to characters are struggling with their emotions, which is love and is conveyed throughout the film and the third one (Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith)
I just saw Attack of the Clones not too long ago, it was way better than I remembered it to be. Jango Fett was awesome and some of the scenes were very well done.
