My favorite of the Star Wars movies. It seems to have a bit more depth to it than some of the others.

Many geek-boy will tell you this is the best star wars film :) they are correct in every sence. This movie had a much more different feel than the first. It introduced a lot more memorable characters but also developed the ones we already knew to a much deeper level, particuarly Solo. One of my favourite movies of all time.

Just take 2 minutes and read this. This is very EASY to do! It literally takes 10 minutes to setup. Simply follow the steps below. I promise you, this is 100% real. I wouldn't jeopardize my EBay account status if this was a scam. My feedback is real and I will answer you on any question! Here is what you do. Click on the link below, register, pick an account type (referral is the easiest) and complete just 1 offer (Very important that you complete the 1 offer otherwise your account will sit in limbo until you do). This is not like other sites where you need to complete one offer on 2 or 3 different pages!!! And a lot of these offers are FREE trials with nothing else to buy...No commitments!!!

There are plenty of cool offers to choose from such as Blockbuster online, Stamp.com, Netflix, Gamefly which are services you would regularly sign up for anyways and their all secure networks, why not use them to get a free PS3 System or cash (I did the Stamps.com for a 30 day free trial and it never cost me a penny and I received credit for it the same day). Look at the offers and choose the one that works for you. After signing up and completing your one offer, simply refer 8-13 people (depending on the FREE prize you choose) to do the same under your link (just post the same thing as I have on eBay, and you'll get your referrals before the auction even ends.)

Then they will ship your Free gift or your selected item for free; No Joke, 100% REAL!!! The reason these companies make money, is because most people don't bother getting all the referrals. All you have to do is post it on EBAY! They use us as advertisement by word of mouth which saves them tons of money which goes toward yours and my free gift. These are legit companies such as Blockbuster, Netflix, Gamefly etc... You can copy my listing if you want. You must use your own authentic link though. You will get your own personal link after your orders placed.

Best Star Wars out of all six. Most people would say either Episodes 3,4 or 5 are the best Star Wars films. Love Yoda training Luke because you learn a lot about the Force and two styles of the Force. Yoda is my favourite Star Wars character because he is so small and so different (species) and yet he is the most powerful person/thing in the galaxy. Also, the way Yoda speaks aswell, like when he says: HELP YOU I CAN. I love R2 D2 and C3Pos friendship and how they are completely different types of druids and yet they bond so well together. I love R2s style of speaking. Like In Revenge Of The Sith, He Beeps UH-OH and he beeps chuckling sounds aswell. Also, C-3POs stubbornness of what his job is with his masters. On the other side of the film, I love the Empires searching for the Millennium Falcon. It is very tense. When Han wants to fix the light speed inside the shop, he acts like he knows what he is doing with it even though he really has no idea. The I AM YOUR FATHER quote has to be nearly the most famous moment in film history. When Vader says this to Luke, it completely changes not just The Empire Strikes Back but the whole saga. This is the number one rip-off film of all time. Another famous quote, when Leia says to Han before he is going to be frozen in carbonite I LOVE YOU and Han says back I KNOW. That sounds better than I LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU TOO. The battle of Hoth is my favourite Star Wars battle out of all six. The visual effects are brilliant in this scene for a film that was made in 1980.

The second installment to the original saga blasts in every direction! The Story is awesome and the classical "father" scene was monumental. Empire Strikes Back definitely strikes back!

Time has past since the "Death Star" had been destroyed, and the "Imperial Empire" is determined to enact revenge on those responsible. And those who are responsible are now hidden on the snow and ice covered planet in the "Hoth" system.

As "Luke Skywalker" (Mark Hamill) and "Han Solo" (Harrison Ford) are surveying the area around the hidden "Rebel" base, "Skywalker" sees what he thinks is an asteroid impact the planet surface near him and goes to investigate as "Solo" returns to the base. As "Skywalker" is about to go to the impact spot, he is attacked by a large "Hoth" creature and is dragged away to the creature's shelter where the remains of previous meals are strewn around the cave floor -- including "Skywalker's" "tauntaun". "Solo" then goes back out as night falls, as does the temperature, to find "Skywalker", who has killed the creature and is visited by the spirit of "Ben 'Obi-Wan' Kenobi" (Alec Guiness) who tells him that he must go to the "Dagobah" system to find "Jedi Master Yoda" (voiced and puppeteered by Frank Oz) to complete his training.

After a search party finds "Solo" and "Skywalker" the next morning, and "Skywalker" is nursed back to health in the base's medical section, the "Empire" forces attack. They are able to take over the base as the "Rebel" forces who survived the attack evacuate. "Skywalker," along with "Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2)" (Kenny Baker), head to "Dagobah" as the rest of the fleet go to the rendezvous, while the "Millenium Falcon," piloted by "Solo" and "Chewbacca" (David Mayhew), evaccuate "See-Threepio (C3-PO)" and "Princess Leia Organa" (Carrie Fisher).

Then, sometime after beginning his training with "Yoda", "Skywalker" gets a vision that his friends are in danger at a "city in the clouds" and leaves to help them against "Yoda's" demands, as well as those of "Kenobi".

But, what "Skywalker" doesn't know is that "Lord Darth Vader" (David Prowse, voiced by James Earl Jones) and the "Empire" forces has taken over "Cloud City", which was under the leadership of "Solo's" old friend "Lando Calrissian" (Billy Dee Williams), and captured his friends.

Now "Skywalker" may be their only hope.

This is a strong follow-up to the first film. It has action, suspense, and really good special effects. It also has strong performances from the cast.

The special effects are well done, and are quite believable, mostly thanks to the fact that the spaceships are models and not the fake looking CGI. The sound effects work quite nicely, as do the laser effects seen during the major battle at the start of this film.

You can tell that the cast from the original movie have melded very nicely. In my opinion, this really helps in their performances and makes the relationships of the characters more believable. Williams, who debuts in this film, made "Calrissian" a loveable rogue to rival the "scoundrel", "Solo". However, being that this is his first appearance in the original trilogy, he seems to be the odd man out and has to work and bonding with the rest of the cast on-screen.

The wardrobes are much better in this film, most notably the ones worn by "Skywalker" and "Princess Leia," who had the cheapest looking outfits in the first film. The "Imperial" outfits haven't changed since the first film, but we get to see the new "Snowtroopers" uniforms during the battle on "Hoth".

There is a few scenes with some bad editing within them. They were just badly done and looked out of place when they showed up. On the other hand, the pacing of the film is really nice.

There is some good suspense in this film. Especially during the battle on "Hoth" and the "lightsaber" battle between "Lord Vader" and "Skywalker," where we find that the two have a connection that shocked fans back when the movie was in theaters.

Despite many dated special effects and bad edits, this movie is a must see for sci-fi fans.

I liked this one better then the 4th one 'A New Hope'. The acting was better. The fights were better and the story was more interesting. I love C-3PO.

I enjoyed this Star Wars movie a little bit more than I did episode IV, mainly because Yoda is just a funny little guy. Still, I am not very impressed with it all.

This is the one people remember. Probably cause its the one where the most famous line regarding Luke and his family are revealed. Also, this one features the Imperial March in the soundtrack which is probably the best song in the Star Wars universe.

The darkest of the trilogy, but not too dark for those who loved the lightheartedness of the first. This one feels more like a chapter than A New Hope which did seem like a complete film with possibilities of expansion. Though I've said for years now that I like this one best, since I've watched them all in a recent Star Wars marathon I've got to admit that I like A New Hope a tad better. Still, this film is pretty much perfect in every way, it just doesn't have the nostalgia factor that the first one has.

possibly the best of the star wars series. vader is vader and luke remains a jedi. the charaters are much more stable and clean cut than the later trilogy half-way through. keeps the story going between first and third movies perfectly, and solo gets frozen in metal. what more could you ask for?

    My favourite from the trilogy.
It feels a lot more grown up and better constructed than the first. It also has one of the greatest endings in cinema.

The Star Wars movie that holds one of the most famous lines in history of cinema. Only as 3rd on my list of Star Wars movies, because of the open ending.
