This movie made my daughter laugh and giggle and had a great time watching it. far more than some disney flicks. They targeted this for kids and they hit their mark. As a huge star wars fan I enjoyed the fact they reached out to my 7 year old.

Just as good as any other Star Wars film.
It's not George Lucas that ruined Star Wars. It was the over zealous fans who ruined it. -

What's Lucas's next big idea for brand extension--Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Darth? full review
The story lacks narrative tension. The dialogue is stilted and overblown, a problem also in some of the live-action incarnations. That, combined with visuals that consistently lack punch, leaves littl... full review
The movie gets more cluttered and confused as it moves along, though it's dotted with so many generic battle scenes and paint-by-numbers light-saber combat sequences that you can see how it's at least... full review
Has it come to this? Has the magical impact of George Lucas' original vision of Star Wars been reduced to the level of Saturday morning animation? full review
George, if this is the best you can do, please give us Star Wars: The Final Tie-In soon. full review
Inconsequentiality is a pox upon the proceedings, draining any trace of narrative tension from countless large-scale conflicts that soon overwhelm the screen with stormtroopers, droids, explosions and... full review

August 15, 2008Lol, anyone notice that the Dark Knight was still playing on more screens at their local theatre than this one?
I'm not going to bother seeing it in the theatres i've decided. Too much re-hash, too much retcon. I really don't have any desire to see this new Padawan, just like "Starkiller." Star Wars sadly cannot keep what was common knowledge for us 30 years ago true canon; George has to keep adding on crap to the universe, along with the league of horrible writers that keep out churning trash (that people surprisingly buy). I'm not dissing all of Star Wars, but like anything that I have an option to see or not, I see no reason to waste my time or really regard this seriously (like I do with the horrible comics, books, and MOST of the games). I'll say this - I did like Episode 3 more than the other prequels and I DO like the premise of the Clone Wars. However, I'd much rather see the rise of the Empire, Mr. Lucas. You couldn't even represent that well in Episode III.
