A very good ending to the series. I think it tied up any loose ends from the end of season 10. Also it was full of nonstop action and breath catching moments if you have seen the series. But a note to everyone, if you have not seen or finished the series, do not watch this film. Watch all of stargate and then this movie.

MCT:July 30, 2008Good for wrapping up the Ori arc. Satisfactory, but not really amazing. Fun, especially the part with the replicators. feels like a string of episodes in movie form, to be honest. but i love stargate, so it's great. =)

Didn't need the replicators in it, even though the replicators special FX are cool.... Would have been cooler with a new space bug or something....

MCT:July 23, 2008this movie is okay but i felt that the whole stopping of the ori with something like with the ark abit weak. i did like the concept of it all, in that way of maniuplation to defeat the ori but i personally felt that the ori arc could of gone on abit more. to see more of a confrontation and history between the ori and the ancients.
But hey! Good movie, the actors were fantastic! I love the whole triangle of Vala-Daniel-Tomin as well as the Adria-Vala relationship. -

It seemed to move too fast. The Replicator plot didn't seem to fit in. Other than that a good movie.

Thank goodness for this film, because the series finale, while very good, did nothing to button up the Ori issue. Stargate SG-1 was a great show.

Brings the whole Ori plot to a satisfying conclusion. I'm not sure that this movie is for everyone you probably should at least have watched some of the series over the last few years but maybe not as they do a fair job of filling in the gaps. Not bad action and the characters are always entertaining.

I love Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis so I may be biased. I liked the movie, however, the story could have been a little better.

Keeps going with the show. Feels like a three-part episode combined into one, which is exactly what is expected from TV-Movie films. Had a good story, same sound track, all good. Though it would be nice if the nanite code wasn't javascript...

I loved it because SG-1 will always live on even if the series is canceled and it doesn't continue in movies.the ark of truth was full of surprises and lots of excitement. i own it and i can't wait for continum.

Thouroughly impressed with this movie.
I was afraid to see it because i wanted to much from it and feared i would be greatly dissapointed.
This movie plays out just like a perfectly orchestrated episode, at no point did i find myself looking at the clock.
The team dynamics are all here and it was good to see them all having fun before everything went pear shaped.
I am greatly hoping SG-1 will live on for another 10 years in the movies. -

I didn't really enjoy the final series of SG-1 - apart from the banter between Jackson and Mitchell - the whole Ori storyline was a bit too grim. So imagine my slight surprise when I actually really enjoyed The Ark of Truth! The special features on the DVD are good value too.

I like this. However, I don't know why Claudia Black is still with the Stargate. I think she should have been written off the series a long time ago.
Her character is not anything like it was when she first showed up. -

hey just to let people know that sky are broadcasting the ark of truth over easter before the dvd release date so if you have a dvd recorder then you wont have to buy it just a heads up

I love SG-1 and I can't wait to see this movie. I don't mind that it seems like an extended episode, as long as I get an Ori conclusion and the SG-1 cast, this will be amazing.
