The link between ST and Total Recall is obvious and a long wait from Paul Verhoeven fans for this EPIC sci fi , slasher, horror. Good Blu-Ray also.
Good old Paul Verhoeven, back to what he does best. A great action parody (although no one told poor old Casper Van Dien)!
Brilliantly violent film with super sharp effects and lots of Verhoeven trademarks all over haha the black satire is thick and fast with news reels all over the film showering you in a communist lifestyle that all must obey and join up to gain citizenship and basic freedom really...( read more)

HAD ITS CHEESY DIALOGUE AND ACTING, BUT I ENJOYED THE CONCEPT AND WAS PLEASED BY THE SPECIAL EFFECTS
I love this violent sci flick about soldiers taking on evil alien bugs on their home planet. This isn't for kids though with plenty of gore on display.
One of my favorite sci-fi movies. Great visual effects and story, with a nice ensemble cast and some campy fun. An excellent movie for Blu-Ray.
