Ok odd story here. After I first saw this I was seriously hearing the vibrating sound everytime I was alone. It was freaky.

"Several Roses in the Game to Rule Then All!!" One of the worst films ever created in 06. As I recently just watched this in 08 and was curious to see if it was any good I have lots to say about it. The concept was good but I would rather play the video game than watch this film. The animation of the video game was even better than the real actors in reality. Yes that's right the acting is horrid and the lead actor guy makes me want to work out.. but not act like he does. This so called horror film had lots of other essence of movies to it. For instance the main villain woman looked like Mary Shaw and the demons came from "The Grudge". In the game itself it sounded like the main guy in those "Saw Movies". LOL to Frankie Muniz!!! The Scariest part in this film was... DON'T WORRY NOT A SPOILER!! the main buff guy was washing the plastic red cups. The creator's of this movie should have spent more time in the gaming world rather than reality. 1 1/2 stars

Although it may be a good film for 11 year olds, it isn't of much interest to adult horror fans. It was well done in places but everything was just too toned down to appeal to anybody really. It certainly isn't in any way scary.

I'm still confused w/ the end of the story. Swink was died in the game, but how come was he still alive?
I guess better all the girls died or October alive than Abigail alive. Grr.. She kissed Hutch!! I dont like :(

I loved this movie, and yeah I wish that October lived and not the blonde. I know that the countess was real because I saw a doc. on her a long time back, she was from an eastern European counter I think, she killed hundreds of girls before she was locked away in a wing of home, I think because back then nobility were considered above the law and could not be executed.

I am obsessed with this movie. The only thing that bugs me about it is that Swink (Frankie Muniez) lived even though he died in the game, so only the siblings were killed from their group.
After watching this movie for the first time I didn't sleep for a week, and I kept imagining things.
Also, this movie would be a good video game except for the whole "dying in real life".posted 441 days ago -
great movie great gore....... true story about Elizabeth Bathory( real name erzabet Bathory) she bathe in virgins blood and bit and loved to bit her servants flesh and chew it............ Elizebeth Bathory......the coooooooolest girl alive! 1514-1640 she's my idol!!!!!

I love this movie so much! I did not like abigail though, and was really mad that they killed october becuase I didnt want her to die. I loved the part when Hutch finds October after her throat was slit and he was all like I can fix this that almost made me cry.

OMG this wuz like an awesum movie. i rlly liked it. it wuznt tht scary but kinda. wow i just found out by reading the comments tht the bloody countess is real! i luved this movie. just the fact tht u die in the game u die for real tht wuz kinda wierd. nd the office part wuz kidna scary. nd when october had blood all over her face wuz just disgusting. this overall wuz pretty good

Give me a break! You look in the game EXACTLY how you do in real life, you die the exact same way you die in the game, this was just cheesy beyond belief. What good came out of this movie? Sophia Bush...that's about it. Once October died (yeah, her name was October, whatever the hell that's about) I was just hoping the end would come soon after. Why did I put myself through this torment?

I wonder how many people know that Countess Elizabeth Bathory (a.k.a. The Bloody Countess) was a real person. As low as that number probably is, it's probably an even smaller one for the people who know her real story.

Elizabeth Bathory(sp) was really one of the first vampires she would take baths and drink young girls blood which really makes her a vampire soo ya

I agree. The storyline's great but the movie itself was very disappointing. But overall, it was a pretty nice movie.

I love love love this movie. It wasn't scary, but the ideas implanted into it were so awesome and entrancing that I couldn't help but jump at times when I heard Elizabeth's trademark sound; also, her eyes. My God. o_o Her EYES.
