Story is more boring than the original but some of the dances are better mostly because the original was breakdancing mixing in with ballet whereas this time its the opposite. In a sense, this film is less civilized and the dances support this theory. Nonetheless, since there is more breakdancing in this film, there are alot more crazy moves that are worth watching the movie for.
My fav dance in either film has to be the dance off between Tatum and Briana in this film.
I really liked this movie,I was again for the first half hour comparing it to Step up.Can't do it! They are 2 different world,The first kinda more of a love story,Don't get me wrong it was dam hard staring at Channing and watching him Mmmm Move like that for 2 hours,but anyway this was awesome.I don't know I am absolutely fascinated with Dance films it seems.This had kind of a mediocre storyline however it was carried very well.I want to also add that anyone that plays in any of these movies,Step up,Stomp the yard,etc, these people are NOT just actors they are true athletes,to have the ability to move that way and have all that endurance.Not to mention Its not just memorizing scripts this is countless hours of rehersals these folks go to to be in these films. Their precision and timing BLOW ME AWAY.Take my opinion for what its worth,I really liked it ALOT,Just remember ,No Channing this time and a completely different storyline for this film.I would recommend this for sure =)
I still can't believe I didn't rate this movie earlier. Wow this movie was the greatest dance movie I have ever seen. Adam Sevani is such a talented young dancer. The dance routines were off the hook.I especially loved the soundtrack:I really don't mind watching it again. Oh yea and my favouritepart ofthe movie was when they danced in the rain that was baddd....i knew the lead guy looked familiar:he was in 'You Got Served'. My gosh this movie was phenomenal;)
First one was WAY better. The dances were better and the cast was better. This would have been a better movie if they didn't make it a second one. And the dance at the end was better in the first one. And it makes me mad that Tyler is only in it for like 15 minutes and Nora isn't in it at all.
i reli like the first step up 1 but this one is even better but i dont know when i watched it again it just seemed it was missing something but im not sure what! but i still reli luv this film and the dancing is amazing
it was good. good music, dancing even better...but there were missing some stuff from the previous part( step up 1) There were a couple of scenes that were fascinating, but for me, the 1 movie was far better.
i have the first one i really want to see the 2nd one cuz the first one was awesome!! when it comes out i am going to buy it.... It was an awesome movie
I flipping love the dancers in this movie pluse Chase is hot.I know it's a little strange cause i haven't seen the first 1 but it doesn't link in any way thank god!
