Channing Tatum did a great job in his first more serious role. Really great cast, excellent acting. Seriously horrid concept, stop-loss.

This is such a hard movie. Finally Channing Tatum takes on a role in which he can be truly proud of. I thought it was an excellent. It's a great depiction of the difficulty of war on both sides, the battlefield and home. War is tough. It's something that sticks with you for a long time. It also captures the essence of doing something you know is right even though it may cost you everything.

It's a PC whine about the war in Iraq. I have two nieces and a nephew there doing what they believe is their duty so that this country can be free and safe. I don't watch any of the "whiny" crap that someone who has never fought for our freedoms turns into a"PC" soapbox. Walk a mile in their shoes then write a script that deals with pride in what you do as a soldier.

An MTV production + The War in Iraq + acting from Channing Tatum + etc. = Crap! My advice to movie production companies: 1. MTV should focus more on its lack of music 2. Stop making Iraq War movies. At least wait until the war is over. 3. Channing Tatum is one of the worst actors in America. Go watch Step Up and She's the Man to see why.

While tackling a very important issue, we learn more of the emotions of the supporting cast than the struggle of the main character. Acting was good.

I thought Ryan Phillipe was Jensen Ackles (Smallville, Supernatural), but when i found it was wasn't, I lost all enthusiasm for this movie.

Stop-Loss is one of the best films I?ve seen this year. It has a great story and a tremendous performance by the cast. The storyline is heart-warming and mid-blowing. It?s really sad what soldiers go through when they get stop-loss. Besides the story, I though the cast did an amazing job portraying their characters. I did not see any actor or actress that didn?t act well. Everyone just acted as if it was a real life experience. Overall, Stop-Loss is a great movie that shows you the emotional life of soldiers fighting in Iraq.

Was one of the best movies I have seen in a while. Kinda sad and makes you think hard about the war and the soldiers fight it.

I admit, I was a little hesitant to see this movie. It seems like when you're making a movie about a current war, you always have a point to make. However, I was pleasantly suprised at the depth I felt this movie had. The ending was what I had hoped (but not expected). I think it explores the themes of sacrifice and identity deeply, which is a shame because so few people will examine this movie closely. The acting was very fine, even Cornish's, although her accent was horrible.

Looks good. Maybe too violent for me...but CT is a good actor. I'd like to see what he can do in this war kind of film.

I really like this, because it has a realistic feel and gives you a small glimpse of the after effects of war on the human soul.

An intense and hard-hitting movie. Not as intense as Jarhead or as powerful or moving as Flags of our fathers, but manages to stand on it's own nicely. Ryan Phillippe is electrifying.

I just saw this movie last night and it was so good! I loved it! It really shows what's going on in iraq. And my love, Victor Rasuk with Ryan Phillipe and Channing Tatum as soldiers was absolutely DELICIOUS!!

Not too bad, but is very very verrrrrry preachy to anti-war cause, so if your a war monger you might not dig this one.

I really liked this movie. I thought it was a very poignant tale of what our soldiers are going through in this meaningless war. I almost made it through without crying but the end made me sad.
