Strait Jacket doesn't stand out in any real way. It's about as generic as anime movies come. The animation is serviceable, but does nothing to stand out from the hundreds of other shows and movies with a similar style. The story is another tale of demons and magic in modern day society, with little attempt at creativity, outside the monster designs. The action scenes are carbon copies of one another, and mostly involve characters standing still and repeating gibberish, then shooting their comically ovesized guns. All the characters were so boring that I didn't remember a single person's name two minutes after the movie was finished. I didn't remember much about the movie at all, actually. So yeah, I'm not a fan. There's literally no reason to watch this, with so many MUCH better animes that cover similar stories. Strait Jacket is the most boring and uninspired movie of this kind that I've seen in quite a while. Do yourself a favor and skip it.
