Another grim and depressing account of lonely people living in contemporary Japan. The movie weaves together different women's perspectives and philosophies which ultimately end up going in the same kind of direction.

Despite the title, this is a very adult film. Watching these four women go through their issues makes for a tough watch at times, but the way the film is presented is far from gratuitous. I would have liked more of a conclusion, but Yazaki Hitoshi gives but a glimpse of the girl'...( read more)
