Quite a depressing movie highlighting the problems of 4 women. Each of them lonely in their own way and trying to find some meaning to their otherwise mundane lives. It's a very slow paced movie. Not sure why people have said this is similar to Sex & The City because it's nothing...( read more)
A story of several youg women pursuing love and happiness in Tokyo, with obligatory in japanese films neglige, peeing and sex scenes.
Another grim and depressing account of lonely people living in contemporary Japan. The movie weaves together different women's perspectives and philosophies which ultimately end up going in the same kind of direction.
Despite the title, this is a very adult film. Watching these four women go through their issues makes for a tough watch at times, but the way the film is presented is far from gratuitous. I would have liked more of a conclusion, but Yazaki Hitoshi gives but a glimpse of the girl'...( read more)
