Originally conceived as a six-part TV series, Bud Greenspan's 16 Days of Glory is a documentary tribute to the 1984 Summer Olympics. The project was released to videocassette in two parts, each running approximately 2 1/2 hours. Part One covered events ranging from swimming to judo, offering well-intentioned sidebars detailing the triumphs and tribulations of the various participants.
