January 16, 2008people who have seen the play like I have need to lighten up a little bit. sure there might be some differences but all in all both the play and the movie are worth watching. Great acting and great music. you couldn't ask for anything more.

January 15, 2008GREAT!!!! MOVIE I really liked it, Tim Burton is a genious as well as Johnny, this is one of the best performances i´ve seen in my life, i never thought i could say this but magnificent work, for johnny, tim, helena, alan rickman, etc. but I mean Johnny Depp just showed to the world that he can do everything, despite of the marvelous singing , I mean what I really liked was his performance , his brilliant acting, and how brave he is, that´s why love him becasue , sometimes I´m with friend watching johnny depp interviews, and they say, imposible he cant johnny depp!, where is his accent?, where are his wierd faces?.. they dont exist , johnny make them of course, but that is just somehting he use for acting, for showing people how great he is, and trying to give the best of him always, great film!, I mean the ending was pretty good, and helena bonham was realli lovely, hehehe, and well CONGRATULATIONS TO JOHNNY DEPP THAT WON A GOLDEN GLOBE THIS SUNDAY, i hope he will win an oscar soon.

January 15, 2008i think its stupid how this movie is rated 18a. i saw it. it isnt gory or violent. the only thing sweeney todd does his slit throats and it doesnt even look gross. but anyway, i love the movie. i thought it was really good. johnny depp is the best actor ever!

January 11, 2008"I Love You Joanna..." Can I just say one of the best musicals adapted to film since "Hair Spray" and "The Phantom Of The Opera". I don't know why people are bad mouthing this film but I don't care. I knew nothing about this musical and when I saw it, it completely took my breath away. How can you not love Johnny Deep. He is a triple thread super star that did a fantastic job portraying a demon barber. Alan Rickman who is an extraordinary actor as well played a ruthless judge and fit that role like he was born to play it. Who shocked me was Sacha Baron Cohen that played an Italian hair tonic charlatan very well and even had the accent to back it up. Also Jamie Campbell Bower who played the young pursuer for his love to Joanna was one of the best singers in the film. Timothy Spall who I remember from the "Harry Potter" series was very well at his role too. The whole cast made me astonished at how good they made this musical come out.

January 7, 2008I KNOW IT SAID R RATED BUT MY LIL SIS GOT TO SEE IT AND SHE'S 14. I JUST SAW IT TWO DAYS AGO AT THE MOVIES AND AT FIRST I WAS LIKE WHAT THE HELL? ITS A MUSICAL? BUT LATER IT GOT INTERESTING, EVERYONE HAD A GREAT SINGING VOICE EVEN JOHNNY, I DIDN'T KNOW HE COULD SING. IT WAS ALSO IRONIC AND ALOT OF BLOOD.
