    Muddled and lacking the political context of the original, Swept Away offers further proof that Madonna can't act.

    A fun film to watch with your friends because damn, it sucks. :D The film probably has some of the most ridiculous scenes and lines ever. However, there was actually some good stuff mainly thanks to Adriano Giannini and the chef's helpers. But c'mon Guy Ritchie, what were you thinking?

    Una jodida obra de arte. Y Madonna es Dios que no cabe duda. Y es la peli más guay que he visto en mi vida. Infravlorada. Parece hecha por Kubrick! Por Dios que gente con poca visión de fúturo. MASTERPIECE!!!!!!

    Swept Away is my 34th favorite movie. That's right favorite was the word i used. This meant come as a suprise to some since this movie was voted the worst movie of 2002. I found it to be a great love story and almost wish i would be so lucky to be trapped on an island with nothing but the girl i love. Music was absolutely perfect in this movie with Fade Into You by Mazzy Star and Spiegel im Spiegel by Arvo Part. It was a touching movie with awfully sad ending.

    Madonna playing brat.. who cares? she plays the character of an insensitive rich gurl.. but in the end she learned to value the feelings and presence of other people, but doesn't have the courage to fight for true love...sad.
