The most atrocious scary evil chick movie ever to deal with swimmers. This crazy killer psycho chick is after this swimmer guy. Yawn. Not scary. Everyone but him can tell she's nuts.
It's actually a more or less natural situation...men aren't the only ones who play with women...women do the same...that's why i like them!! ;) But, that actress performed well the bitchie-screw life rol.
There are several problems with this movie. First off why does the supposedly high school hero have a muzzle that would put Homer Simpson's to shame? Isn't this why they have make-up people? Secondly the story doesn't go anywhere. Thirdly the plot is paced so a snail would sleep and it takes forever to get anywhere. Fourthly it is a real struggle to have much sympathy for the protagonist because ultimately he is mostly a douche bag. Fifthly the ending where the two lovers proclaim their love while the "psycho" slowly drowns is creepy. Sixthly how come when people go crazy they develop super ninja abilities. Seventhly....this could go on forever lets just go to what works. ....uh....Shiri Appleby is really cute and I like seeing her on screen and mostly her parts work. Also Erika Christian's character has a little bit of interest to her. Perhaps if they spent more time showing us where she is coming from and less time on the "hero" this movie might have gone somewhere. All the stars here belong to Shiri.
i haven't been on this site in, well, months probably, and i don't think i've actually done anything here for over a year. but after watching this movie i felt i had to give a PSA: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS MOVIE.
i have to admit that when i saw the trailers a couple years ago i was intrigued. after watching it a minute ago i have to say i am HUGELY disappointed. the whole plot was ridiculously unbelievable, and the mention of the main dude's past problems with drugs was a weak attempt to add depth to his character. i wasn't on even a little on edge at any point during the viewing experience. there is nothing scary about this movie. failing to at least scare the audience, the film really has nothing to offer.
Swimfan was a bit messed up but was overall a good movie, I thought the person that played the bad chick was quite a psyco and it made for a better movie.
this is an o k movie, i did enjoy it and it was a bit exciting, but i feel it could be better. giving 3 1/2 stars just for the effort and the fact that jesse is HOT
I adore swimming, so thats a plus plus right there. No idea why I like this film, Jesse is hot, she is freaky and has mega issues. I hate psychological thrillers but this wasnt very scary or anything so I liked it.
This film reminded me of Hitchcock's Psycho. I really wasn't scared of Christensen's character at all, until she shoots the two cops towards the end. I found it to be a very good take on the obsessive/psycho genre. I can see how most wouldn't like it, but anyone with an interest in characters that are insane, should like this.
this came as a surprise to me! i was expecting "yeah some teenage bullshit drama" well yeah it is a drama film that wayy exeeded my expectations. A very cool story starting softly, this guy leading this normal life that's even found love, meets a girl that well might be described as "the temptation" and after a one time sex scene with her his whole world turns into a living nightmare as it turns out that this "temptation" is mentally challenged in a twisted sick kinda way. Of course has a typical drama film ending with some friends dying but the main characters true love survives!!! Some great acting potential and well built characters. Have fun..or not, u choose.
It started ok, but thanks to my sister buying cheap DVD's it only lasted for about half an hour. My impression was it was really low budget with the cast and the cinematics. I probably wont want to see the rest, it seems slightly predictable and typically demented...
Very strange movie. It was weird because it was weird to see someone stalk someone else this much. I did however like how it came together, but it still weirded me out a little bit.
intesting, I think women or girls that go after man that are taken are idiots and sluts and have no self respect for themsevers or anyone else. They don't know the meaning of love and the sicko girl in this movie needed to be locked up in a insane inslyum
The word stalker sort of haunts me already lol =p..causee you call me that sometimes and I did'nt like it before..I guess I'm getting better about it though, hehe.
I thought this was a good film. The acting was good especialy from Erika Christensen, who pulls off the crazt girl perfectly. The ending was quite good and the thrills up to it kept you on the edge of your seat. I didnt know what she was going to do to this poor boy next, but i supose she didnt force him to have sex with her... Overall a good movie worth a watch.
This movie freaked me out Sooo badly when I first saw it. The really scary thing is the fact that someone could actually be crazy enough to do something like that.
i remember i was seeing a movie with my dad and when the preview for the movie came up and at the end of it it showed the date of when themovie came out and my dad said i can tell you what im not seeing on september 26
well the story is great and the actors are ok but i soooooooooo don't agree about her ging back with him i mean he was UNFAITHFUL and that crazy girl didn't force him to have it with her.
