Way too slow, too long, too complicated, not enough action, the action is not concentrated enough, total lack of aesthetic ambition, lack of originality, good actors though, it's a shame to waste so much talent for such a useless flick. Once more directors and writers and produce...( read more)rs should ask themselves: "why are we doing this film" real hard before doing any movie. It's a shame, I really like Craig.

A wonderful ensemble cast shines in this film headed by Daniel Craig. Wow! Is there nothing this actor can not do? Consistently brilliant in every thing he does on screen I am convinced now that he is by far the best actor of his generation. A great story wonderfully filmed. A mu...( read more)st see for all ages. The ending is so moving and powerful it will stay with you for days.
Some fans of the film may have bones to pick with this production but for those like me who have not read it the film plays beautifuly.
The locations are stunning and the film has immense sweep and drama. Comedy also plays a major role in this film so in the end it is bitter sweet and oh so satisfying. Epic in scope and yet intimate and touching a wonderful film that kept me glued to the tube.

It told Flixter to add this CRAPPY CRAPPY FLICK, just to harass its ass and rate it! I rented this one with my three other friends approximately three weeks ago.. Me and my friend Joel realized that this was another cheap advertising trick to make people rent it in the store.. hu...( read more)m.. *thumbs down* I can't imagine why Times wrote: "Really powerful". YEAH MY ASS! *haha* Me and my friend could figure out why they wrote: ?David Craig from Casino Royale?? of course it was just a cheap advertising trick just to juice more money out of this movie? *ROTFLOL* They must have made a new cover, at the back of the cover I could find that the movie was made 2001, Casino Royale came out 2006.. so yeah, it was really something suspicious about it!!! Me and my friend Joel talked about it and wanted another movie, but Ray wanted to see this one and Flinken was okay with it.. haha =) Me and Joel usually prefer comedies.. anyway at the back of the cover you could see 4 scenes from the movie and those scenes where war-scenes.. yeah right, my ass! DAMN! The movies practically didn?t have a war scene at ALL!!! That is WICKED! The flick was DARN 3 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES! GOD DAMN! On the front and back of the cover you could see the ?warning-signs? *haha* stated: ?3 HOURS!? OMFG! This one was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD DAMN BOOOORING I had to watch how much of the flick we had watched, either on the DVD-player or on my watch.. DISTCUSTING!!! AVOID!!! CRAPY CRAPY SHIEAT!!! Usually I?m totally okay with war movies, but this one took all the prices.. for being CRAPPY AS HELL!!! *sigh* After the movie I just had to look it up at Imdb.com, guess what I found out? This flick was made for the FUCKING TELEVISION!!! OMFG! It was probably split up to 2 or 3 parts.. it would definitely not surprise me! Either way, I CAN?T BELIEVE THAT THE FUCKING ?No.1 Video? rental store would do something like this? hey wait.. Ray and I saw that they made their own cover for a movie.. *ROTFLOL* That SHIT it wicked! Are they pirates!? *LOL* =D Next time we see signs of B-flicks I will definitely AVOID IT!!! FUCK THIS SHIT! =( So wasn?t there anything good with this flick? Yes, we were able to watch how cowards were able to use the WWII for their own gaining! FUCKING COWARDS! BIEATCHES!!! Hitler was one too.. but that?s another story? or is it? *Haha* =) I re-rated this one from 0,5 stars to 1,5 stars.. =)
