His children do little to help their struggling father. His daughter marries a wealthy man and bears a musically talented son. To tutor him, his mother unknowingly hires her estranged father. Later, the crabby woman and her husband go through a messy divorce and have a huge custody battle for the boy. The judge decides to award custody to the boy's grandfather.
