Jiang Wen is definately one of the most art house director from China, no wonder he's well-known to many European directors. The Sun Also Rises had beautiful cinematography. The story might seem hard to understand at first with it's simple but non-logical story-telling way. But e...( read more)

This is the first time i watched Wen Jiang's film, so far so good, quite special about the plot and editing skill, and Hisaishi Joe 's music is wonderful all along the time, maybe better focus on the music and sound in this movie.
