Plot: Tony and Trev have a lot in common, they both own takeaway fish and chip shops and they both live behind their fish and chip shops. The only problem is they're three doors away from each other in the ...( read more read more... )same suburban Melbourne street. All is relatively well until the announcement of the construction of a multinational Burgies fast food outlet across the road. Tony and Trev are forced into an uneasy partnership and with the help of the community they take on Burgies.

    This is one of the best Australian movies of all time. I rank it with the Castle. Very funny and good/easy to watch, good humour :)

    I was watching this in business management but someone stole the DVD before we saw the end, but its good so far.

    not all australian movies aer good. this is one of the worst movies ive ever seen. i thought i'd try it. the plot isnt very good, but a movie doesnt have to have a good plot if it has good jokes. nobody laughed at this except for at the stupid jokes. dont bother wtaching this movie even to get the jokes.

    very disappointing film, i was hoping for something really entertaining, but alas, stupidity and low-budget laughter, with a topping of highly unlikely events once again struck australian comedy. And to anyone who reads this, this film was made in and at the end of my street! this is why i was so excited about it, and i saw some of the filming in progress, so i was really hoping for something good, but i was disappointed. Vince Colosimo is better than this.
