i cant tell you what happens, but pretty much its the story of a killer who is smarter than the cops, and one who takes over identites. its angelena's job to outsmart the killer, thats all i can say, the ending will blow your mind.

An absolute thrill ride which takes you into a life of a cycopath killer. This movie has a whole load of mystery and amazing acting by Angelina and Ethan.

Finally, A Thriller That I Actually Love And One That I Will Never Get Bored With. Taking Lives Is The Killer Thriller I Have Been Waiting On For A While. Stylish, Dark, And Disturbing. D.J. Caruso Is One Of My Favorite FilmMakers. The Cast Is Very Talented. Angelina Jolie, Ethan Hawke, Kiefer Sutherland, Olivier Martinez, And Tcheky Karyo Are All Amazing. I Actually Found This Film To Be More Fun Than The Silence Of The Lambs. Really. Although The Silence Of The Lambs Has A Better Story, Taking Lives Just Moves Faster. And Is Way More Stylish. So, Taking Lives Is One Of The Best Thrillers I Have Seen In A Long While. You Must See It. I Love It. A+

Despite the presence of Angelina Jolie (and a sex scene that goes on too long even in the edited version), it's a good film.

Polished thriller that barring the odd moment here and there managed to bore me with its hackneyed plot. The film-makers do keep you going for a while by providing two possible suspects, the always creepy Ethan Hawke and the go to psychotic villain of choice (when not playing Jack Bauer) - Kiefer Sutherland. If I was feeling more charitable I might be inclined to give it an extra half star but only for Angelina's tats.

Oh my GOD, this is a predictable and crappy movie! And the actors, come on! Angelina Jolie, Ethan Hawke, these are people who should do a much better job all facts considered. Still, I don't think the actors are all at fault here, since the script - which had the potential of being good - failed! And Olivier Martinez... he just can't act. The only one who measures up (as always) is Gena Rowlands. Watch her and learn, people. THAT'S how you should act.

Le Pont de Québec à Montréal, le Chateau Frontenac... c'est ben l'fun les films tournés au Québec et dont l'action se passe au Québec, mais maudit qu'on décroche quand ca ne fonctionne pas!!! Ca vire un peu à n'importe quoi, ça s'en va nul part, Hawke est pas à son meilleur et Jolie ne fait juste être... Jolie...

Lame thriller that really should have starred Ashley Judd - definitely her genre. Jolie is wasting her time in this by the book, spot the twists movie.

I really liked this in the beginning and it came out really horrifiying in the end and it became to sexual and graphic and i think that they took things to far in some parts and they didn't really have the strenght the make it a good movie without having it really gory or disgusting.
