This is one if not my favorite film directed by, Pedro Almodovar. I think the thing I love best about his films is his use of flawed characters. There are very few films that would give significant screen time takes a rapist and a stalker that wasn't some sort of suspense or horror film. whats more is that none of those movies would try and make you sympathize with him. this is what makes Almodovar so fantastic, he really challenges us to identify or sympathize with people that are lovable admirable in some aspects, but absolutely despicable and disturbing in others.

Beautiful, poetic, and funny often in unexpected ways until one character made a decision to do something to some girl in a coma that resulted in some other thing that I can't mention here, but this certain something took me completely out of the picture.

IMPRESIONANTE!!
Almódovar nos presenta una película compleja, con personajes extraños y familiares a la vez. Está muy bien escrita, y la narración es muy efectiva, además de contar con un muy buen ensamble.Muy recomendable.posted 468 days ago
