I'm really torn by this movie. I don't know whether to love it or hate it. It's probably one of the most disturbing and disgusting films ever made, it's offensive and pointless but it still feels like there is something to be offered.
Bizarre visceral story of three ages of man which has some wonderful visual flourishes backed up with great sound. The middle story is laced with a dark humour but I'm not quite sure of the point of it all.
Brilliant, really. I mean the cinematography was amazing, it's filthy and gritty look were almost beautiful. The story didn't hold back, and if it did, well a lot slipped through. This film makes no apologies, it's grotesque and it knows it and that's what it wants to be.

Simply put, one of the most beautiful and most engrossing experiences I've ever had with a film. My favorite film of 2006!
I never gave a movie, well...nothing, zero, but this one I think deserves that "prize", so what was this movie all about ? Who cares, I couldn't watch more than 15 minutes, maybe after that something interesting happend, but once again, who cares, not me. I'm sorry I was mislead ...( read more)
