As my friend Chance put it, "Best superhero movie to come out in years." I think I need to watch it another time to get the full effect though.

I'm a bit disappointed with this film. I thought it was going to be a bit more like a Frank Henenlotter film I suppose. It was quite uneasy viewing really, which shocked me as I like all sorts of weird films that are more graphic and disturbing by far. I guess it was in the way i...( read more)t was handled. You expect to be shocked with a Takeshi Miike film but Mitchell Lichtenstein is that kind of director, he's not as talented. Also the humour element doesn't sit well, sure it has its funny bits (the dog eating the penis) but it doesn't draw a line between what is intentional and what is subsequent. It also depicts all men as perverted rapists, which is just lazy and stupid of the writers. I guess I've seen worse though!

Fun for a while...then it's basically, "Yeah I get it. Please no more severed Penises."

If you're a fan of the X-Men series then you'll love this darkly comical coming-of-age film about a mutation that Marvel Comics never told you about.

"Teeth" explores the horror in the fear of the entities existing and non-existing as it condenses it audience's imagination into the darker, more sexual enigma. It has lots of good elements of both comedy and horror that when combined makes a fantastic film to watch. Its gory apo...( read more)calyptic sense of feminism seeks to stratify the morality of younger generation. The music plays so much importance in this film because it effectively strengthens the aftermath of every scene. The cinematography is quite impressive, it's easy to watch, with camera movements and cuts that are well done. It's a complete package of laughter, sex, and violence.

Which scene is the best? The loser getting what he deserves in bed during his pleasure; the boyfirend; the unchaste gynocologist; the abusive, incestous sodomizing brother, or the hitchhiker? It doesn't matter because I enjoyed every single moment of castration.

I found this movie to be a huge disappointment. I thought that this wold be a pretty good horror/comedy, even something tongue in cheek, but this was more dramatic and slow that I found this movie rather boring. Jess Weixler is likable enough even though no one else is, but I tho...( read more)ught her acting was alright at best and overdone at worst. But once again a movie with some great potential, that does nothing with it. It was just a hard movie to get into.
