Tender Comrade
Ginger Rogers stars as a woman whose husband is another casualty of war. Tender Comrade is the story of a group of soldiers' wives during WW II who support one another while living together as their husbands serve their tours of duty. Unfortunately, director Edward Dmytryk was later added to the blacklist for "un-American" activities, and this war drama was considered to be communist propaganda by the House Un-American Activities Committee.
