Ridiculous over the top tennis movie but it's great fun. A pity then that the lead character is a miserable and unlikeable person that makes you want to punch his face in.

i love all of them!!^^ even though anime is better but...i still need to watch the real ppl in action cuz they're just so hot!! especially Hongo Kanata n Hiroki Aiba...Shirota Yuu n Osamu Adachi is also not left out...kawaii!! can't wait 4 the next live-action...i wonder if there will be another live-action POT directed...but i wan the same ppl!! >.< they're my fav now!!
Personaly I prefer the anime, but fuji still looks cool.^^ Tezuka looks dodgy , Ryoma looked ok. But then what do you expect from a film based on a anime.
i sort of love the movie but the anime series is way better in my opinion. but then again, i still love Yuu Shirota! Overall, even though this prince of tennis isn't dat great as the anime series, it's still good to watch.
ZoMg. The person playing Oishi is hot. Heck, all of them are hot, especially Hiroki Aiba (playing Fuji) and Osamu Adachi (playing Kikumaru X3) and Yuu Shirota (Tezuka). And like I said before, Hiroki Suzuki (Oishi). *goes searching for movie*
This movie's really for the Tenimyu/Tenipuri fans and the ones who really know the manga and anime up to the second Hyoutei match. Otherwise you don't really get what's going on.
p.s. It's also in Japanese. Another reason why you have to have read the anime/manga to get a general idea of what they're saying.
