Loses its shock value on repeat viewings. The first time I watched it I almost shit my pants laughing, but when you know what's coming it gets a bit boring.
Crazy animated movie. Didn't really pick up till the middle. Had it's moments of sheer awesomeness but lots of plodding slow perts. Maybe it's just the pace of Denmark's humor. Not for children :)
wow i just saw this for the 1st time nd thought that its was absolultley brilliant....i think the animation is really good throughout the movie.....i think that this is a good comedy/animation film this has a good cast good script, i think that this is a really funny film....i really enjoyed this film
slightly strange but very entertaining animated film from denmark. some great british comedy actor do the voices and so the voice to mouth movement is slightly out of time but it manages to get away with it.
Based on a popular Danish radio series, the adventures of typical teen Terkel and co get repackaged and redubbed from the original Danish version, after all if it's CGI animated, someone somewhere feels it's commercial enough to re-package, ala the American redub of 'The Magic Roundabout'. However this is no kid's adventure, 'Terkel' is mean-spirited, juvenile, featuring solvent abuse, teen suicide and other biting elements. It owes alot to 'South Park' of course, but what 'Terkel' lacks (atleast in this version) is tighter plotting, the action moves sluggishly and it's real strengh is a smattering of songs, both catchy and occasionaly very funny. The animation itself looks incomplete (like those Pixar screen tests you'll witness as a DVD extra) meaning (bar a small sequence set to a love song) it looks cheap and lacks depth. The UK version is nifitly adapted, with the UK voice cast ably pulling off what was in the Danish version a one-man show with the transformation of Kevin into a wannabe gangsta fitting the best. Lazy lack of re-rendering on Danish text doesn't help, meaning the 'Se7en'-esque opening title sequence no longer works and plot points written as text no longer translate. Still, it's worth watching and any film that contains a song called 'Piss off and Die, You're an Ugly Twat and Your Mother Likes To Shag Horses' deserves an extra half-star in my book.
BWAHAHAHAHAH this its so lol i die to laugh there i see it in the first time this its a danish movie so u know that sure not :P
