Before moving into Terra Nova, Ruth (Jeanette Cronin) and her daughter Tuesday (Eloise Etherington) lived with her parents. Ruth has psychological problems, but their exact nature and scope remain undefined in the film. The idiosyncratic Margie (Angela Punch McGregor) runs the rooming house.
