Unjustly accused of a crime and on the lam, Bill Rusk (Bill, Jr.) hides out in Trona County, where he gets in on a crooked betting scheme. He reconsiders, however, when lovely Mary Lou (Lucile Browne) borrows money against her mortgage in order to bet on Bill's horse "Chile" in the big race.
