MCT:August 17, 2008Awesome "Neo-Western Cowboy" movie...I haven't seen many westerns but I sure like this one...Ashton Kutcher is not a great actor, but I gotta admit...he's funny...I loved the cast, the gun-action was cool, and it brought me back to the old days, although the new cast was really refreshing...enjoyed it really...entertaining stuff...

MCT:July 9, 2008This movie that teams up Dawsons Creek star James Van Der Beek with Ashton Kutcher and a whole lot of other well known tv stars is a good western movie about the Texas Rangers who set out to uphold the law in the old West, this movie shows how cool it was back then to be a Texas Ranger, and one of these cowboy lawmen is on a mission of his own to find his parents kilers...a nice one to watch

While this movie shot out to leave you with that epic legendary feeling, it fell flat.
This movie doesent live up to it's title, yeah they are rangers but the subline "before there was law, there were the rangers" indicates these boys are out doing what they believe is the right thing, making rules and abiding by them, instead the whole film is chasing after a mob who stole the towns cattle.
They can't really call themselves the law when your commander is a loose cannon and no better then the men they are trying to catch.
On top of all that this movie was incredibly predictable (exept for sam but it didn't really suprise me, they should have left it a bit longer).
I do give credit to usher who was suprisingly alright and had a few good lines, most of the cast were pretty good, they just got stuck in a crapy movie.
If your a hardcore western fan, skip this it'l make u cringe. -

MCT:May 15, 2007This is probably one of the worst movies I have seen. Even Ashton Kutcher and James Van Der Beek in the bathtube together couldn't keep my interest.

its about a bunch of rangers in texas. there is a good fight scene. and james vanderbeek is a good actor here!!

Saw this the other day, & I was quite confused about what was going on the whole time. Can't say I paid an awful lot of attention though to be be entirely honest. Worth a look I'd say.

I've just been watching this on BBC 1 and it reminded me I'd seen it ages ago. I didn't like it the first or the second time. its pretty poor.
