An ok movie. I haven't seen the original. Rather stupid movie.
Christina Ricci has her normal sarcastic/witty nature. And Doug E. Doug adds some comedy.
Thats all this movie has going for it.
'Agent Zeke Kelso: Wherever the informant leads, it is our responsibility to follow him in a fluid moving perimeter.'
'Mr. Peter Randall: Why are you always in black?
Patti Randall: Because it matches my soul.'
oh yeah! this movie is so cute! I love D.C... Good movie to watch with your family and friends. Recommended for all type. So it's safe to leave your kids to watch it alone.
a purrr-fectly made movie... Doug E. Doug in the role he was made to play... This is a side splitting MISadventure!!! be ready for some unexpected Surprises in this romp... Trust me you'll have a (That) DARN! (Cat) Good Time!!!! This movie was really cute and had the best cinematography i've ever seen... including a Cat FaRTiNg!!!!!!!
The original yes, but the remake no... a lot of remakes of the classic Disney films just can't cut it... they either try to be too cute with the lame songs ever three seconds, or they try to be funny with entirely too much silliness for me... nah, I'll stick to the Hayley Mills version which is actually quite good.
I tuned in on tvand this was 10 minutes already started but i watched it anyway. It was corny but enjoyable. Just a movie thats very laid back, nothing serious. But it made me laugh alot however much corny it may be. Christina seems to naturally act like a dark teen!
such a predictable movie. there is childish action and laughs, few laughs at that, and enough quirky moments that will send shivers up the spine of any sensible person. not very interesting, i have to say.
I loved this as a kid. Not so much now, but it is surprising and funny. Watch it with a kid, or show it to a kid and leave the room. However, wait until they are at least 8ish years old, cause it can be a little violent if you are particularily sensitive... but it's pretty much just fluffy fun.
