The Adventures of Marco Polo
In the thirteenth century, Marco Polo (Cooper) makes the long trip from Venice to China in hopes of opening up trade with the Eastern country. In China, Marco is warned about Ahmed (Rathbone), the chief advisor to the emperor Kublai Khan (Barbier), who secretly covets the throne himself. The Venetian traveler and Princess Kukachin (Gurie), daughter of Kublai Khan, fall in love.
